Have you ever heard of THE mythical orienteering race - 100% young people, 100% fun, 100% responsible?

What is the 4L TROPHY?
It's a real orienteering rally, for young adventurers aged 18 to 28, of all nationalities. Every year, it brings together a great bunch of merrymakers (up to 2400!!!) and as many roadbooks and compasses.

THE OBJECTIVE ?
To cross Spain with friends and discover Morocco together, from Tangier to the Atlas mountains, from Merzouga to Ouarzazate, from Tichka to Marrakech.
A guaranteed atmosphere for young people thirsting for adventure, and a happy caravan of over 1,200 4Ls venturing as far as the dunes of the Sahara.
It's also the crazy thrill of braving the great outdoors with friends on a budget.

Origins of the 4L TROPHY
This ingenious idea comes directly from Jean-Jacques Rey, a driver with a passion for traditional car and motorcycle raids. The founder of Désertours, during a "recos terrain" for a Biarritz-Dakar rally, realized one evening around a campfire how much he would have loved to have lived this type of experience at the age of 20. He wants to share the pure pleasure of braving the great outdoors with friends. To make this possible, everything had to be possible on a small budget. In 1997, aboard the legendary, all-purpose Renault 4L, the challenge was successfully met on the Moroccan roads. The first pages of this beautiful story were written, and the future of the 4L Trophy was launched: armed only with a roadbook and a compass!
